The special feature of the PS series is its low self-weight. This allows the achievement of high power densities. Thus planetary gears are applicable for high weight requirements as for example in axis movements at dynamic operation. Up to three planetary stages allow for a large selection of transmissions. You may select from transmissions from i = 3 to i = 512. Is your installation space limited? Then you may select out of versions with 40 mm, 60 mm and 80 mm outer diameter.

The PL series distinguishes itself by a very solid construction. The applied gear rings and drive shafts are designed in a way to allow high torsional stiffness. The planetary gears are ideally applicable even at high radial or axial load. Thanks to the ratio of i=10 in the first planetary stage the 2-stage version may reach transmissions of up to i=100.
