MX025 Microphone C-250 + preamplifier PA-25 Applications • Acoustic precision measurement with 1/2 ‘‘ prepolarized microphones. The MX025 is a unit comprising a preamplifier fed by a constant current ICP® PA-25 + prepolarized microphone C-250. Features • Robust small preamplifier • Excellent frequency response The PA-25 has been specifically designed to condition the CESVA C-250 prepolarized microphone. Because of its low output impedance the PA-25 can be used with very long, low cost, coaxial BNC-BNC connection cables. The PA-25 has a high input impedance which practically stops the microphone from loading. The CESVA PA-25 is fed by 2-20 mA of constant current. The C-250 condenser microphone has been developed to supply the sector with greatest demand for precision sound pressure measurement. The use of materials such as nickel and monel, and exhaustive quality control, make the C-250 a highly reliable microphone.
