The Direct Acting Adjustable Orifice Valve is actuated by two independent > diaphragms located in the top assembly. Inlet AӔ controls the orifice > diaphragm while inlet BӔ closes the valve totally. The orifice size is adjusted simply by loosening the two lock nuts located on the top of the valve. After the nuts are loosened rotate the bottom lock nut clockwise to increase the orifice size or counterclockwise to decrease the orifice size. After the adjustments are completed simply re-tighten the nuts. This particular valve is an original innovative design and is available only from Durbin Industrial Valve, Inc. > The material used for the construction of the body and yoke of Durbin this style is stainless steel. The disc, seat and stem set are made from 17-4 stainless steel to increase the durability of the valve.
